Brokers make mistakes. So do sellers, buyers, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, attorneys and others. Typically these mistakes by brokers are made because the broker (or their supervisor) is unfamiliar with some of the “rules of the road”. For the purpose of this course, the “rules of the road” include:

- Sound business practices, common sense & clear communication.
- North Carolina real estate license law and administrative rules.
- REALTOR® Code of Ethics (for brokers who are REALTORS®).
