Celebrate Charlotte’s top commercial real estate brokers from the past year. Join us as we honor the 2022 Deal Makers who exemplify the highest caliber of real estate professionalism and produced real estate volume production of $2M or more in commercial sales and leasing activity in 2021. Special comments will be presented by Roy Williams, Hall-of-Fame coach of the UNC-Chapel Hill Tar Heels. Awards Applications Are Open The Deal Makers Awards recognizes brokers and developers in the commercial real estate industry who have accumulated sales transactions of over $2,000,000 in 2021. All applicants and top producers will be recognized in the Charlotte Business Journal’s Real Estate Quarterly. Each year, we recognize:

About Coach Roy Williams
Roy Williams retired on April 1, 2021, with the third-most wins by a Division I head coach and the sixth-highest winning percentage in college basketball history. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007, Williams was a college head coach for 33 seasons at two of the three winningest programs in the sport's history. He won 418 games in 15 seasons at Kansas from 1988-2003 and 485 games in 18 seasons at UNC, his alma mater, from 2003-21.
