CRCBR’s heart is committee involvement. We encourage every member to become actively involved in a committee and/or project.  We also actively solicit your comments and suggestions throughout the year. The following is a list of the committees currently in operation within the organization:

CRCBR Committees

  • Alliance – This committee is responsible for annual fundraising and obtaining corporate sponsors who support the commercial industry. Chair: Katie Corrie, Insite Properties
  • Education – This committee provides a wide variety of continuing and general education courses specifically focused to the commercial practitioner. From online and classroom CE to Breakfast with Brokers, members are provided access to opportunities to learn more to support their growing commercial real estate practice. Chair: Bailey Patrick, Jr, MPV Properties
  • Grievance – This committee serves as a “grand jury” for complaints on ethics violations and arbitration on contractual issues to determine if a complaint warrants referral to the Professional Standards Committee. Chair: Pete Frandano, MECA Commercial Real Estate
  • Leadership Development – This committee works to build up the future leadership of CRCBR. The committee plans and executes the yearly calendar of meetings and events for the Leadership Class as well as develops relationships with our local universities through scholarship and grant opportunities. Chair: Ross Howard, JLL
  • Legislative – This committee works to increase member awareness about political issues and actions that impact the commercial real estate industry. This committee works closely with the city council, NCAR, NAR, and REBIC. This committee also works to generate funds for the REALTOR® Political Action Campaign (RPAC). Chair: Paisley Gordon, CPG Real Estate, Inc.
  • Membership – This committee focuses on attracting and retaining members, facilitating participation in the organization, and formulating strategies for appropriate expansion of the membership. This committee also manages our marketing efforts, including social media. Chair: Robert Settle, Commercial Carolina
  • Professional Standards – This committee educates members about their obligations under CRCBR’s bylaws and NAR’s Code of Ethics, arbitrates disputes, and implements procedures relating to the ethical conduct of REALTORS®. Chair: Bob Percival, SVN | Percival Partners
  • Programs – This committee provides logistical input about new and budgeted networking activities set forth by the organization. This committee also encourages participation and evaluates the success of each program. Chair: Andi Peretsman, Childress Klein
