What do we need to know when doing a commercial transaction and where do we find the information? Doesn't the building code cover all accessibility issues? (No) This course includes an easy-to-use Small Business Guide on the ins and outs of ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act) which every commercial practitioner should have as well as a lengthy due diligence checklist covering land use, site, legal, personal, tenant, financial, marketing and building items which may need further investigation before a deal can proceed.

Join Commercial Real Estate brokers and UNC Charlotte Graduate students at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City, for an afternoon of learning and networking. Brokers and students will have the opportunity to learn together in this fast-paced, engaging class. The class will be followed by a networking session. This class meets the requirement for CE Elective for 2021-2022.

Course Information:

This course is designed to make commercial agents aware of items that may need investigation when a client/customer is considering a commercial real estate sale or acquisition. Topics discussed include land use issues site issues building code/development issues transactional/business issues existing structure issues financing issues market issues and personal issues.  This class meets the requirement for CE Elective for 2021-2022.
