Flagship Healthcare Properties (“Flagship”) is a rapidly growing commercial real estate firm located in Charlotte, NC that specializes in the development, acquisition, management and leasing of outpatient medical office properties, primarily in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Flagship is the sponsor of the private REIT Flagship Healthcare Trust, which has ownership in more than 45 properties valued at more than $325 million.

Flagship is seeking a positive, energetic and hardworking individual to oversee the graphic design and marketing efforts for the REIT. In addition, this role will have responsibility for planning and oversight of occasional company events (annual shareholder meeting, sponsored conference events, etc). This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company with a strategic niche in the health care real estate market. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with exceptional organizational skills, who is able to handle multiple tasks and has a can-do attitude. This role will report to the Director of Investor Relations. 

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Regularly updating the REIT’s marketing documents (currently prepared using Adobe InDesign)
  • Generating content and presentations for the REIT’s quarterly Board of Directors meetings
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with Flagship Healthcare Properties
  • Coordinating with Flagship’s external P.R. firm to generate press releases announcing key investments and events
  • Liaising with multiple lines of business (ie Acquisitions, Development, Asset & Property Management, Accounting, Investor Relations) to generate quarterly shareholder reports
  • Supporting the Investor Relations team, President and CEO in direct and indirect marketing efforts to secure new investors
  • Accessing, updating and utilizing a prospect/investor CRM system to proactively communicate with existing and potential investors
  • Creating and maintaining marketing materials for the REIT’s Irish-domiciled investment fund
  • Generating and monitoring relevant social media material
  • Assisting the team in maximizing Flagship’s presence at conferences, maintaining conference calendar, overseeing registration, creating/gathering materials, pre-event correspondence, etc. Also, to include occasionally attending those conferences that we sponsor/exhibit, representing Flagship and the brand.
  • Planning and execution of occasional company events (annual shareholder meeting, sponsored events, etc.)

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, abilities, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, basic HTML/WYSIWYG, WordPress, etc.)
  • Previous real estate marketing experience 
  • Previous CRM experience (Salesforce)
  • The ability to think and work both independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
